McCoy is coming off a great summer with Local Legend RVA and is one of the top players in the Farmville area, and with his father being a college coach for the Longwood Women’s team he not only plays the game the right way but is also highly skilled as well. The 6’2” wing already has a great frame and is a strong finisher through contact, he can score the ball from all three levels, he can create for himself and others off the bounce and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands, and he brings a great level of competitiveness on both ends of the floor.

McCoy is an intriguing 2029 prospect with good length, high level athleticism and plenty of long term upside. He is an efficient perimeter shot maker with deep range and can also attack off the dribble and finish at the rim. McCoy has a good feel for the game and possesses the physical tools to develop into a versatile, high level defender.
