-Oyekan’s physicality from the football field definitely rubs off on his play on the hardwood as a physical downhill driver that bullies his way to the paint. Over the course of the season, Oyekan began to capitalize on the passing windows that open up in the key, sometimes even landing on two feet before kicking out to a perimeter teammate after drawing the help defenders to him in the key. Even when he missed his first attempt at the rim he usually exploded up for a second jump to score the putback before the defense had a chance to react. Excited to see where he chooses to play his travel ball this offseason!

-The speed and leaping ability were on display throughout this contest as a dynamic guard prospect that leaves his imprint on the game at both ends of the floor. Oyekan flew in for two putbacks at the rim, got two feet in the paint with regularity to force the defense to rotate, and drove straight at the opposing bigs to initiate the contact and draw fouls at the rim. Love his ability to switch gears and change direction or speed with the ball in his hands, shifting really well in traffic to drive to space and create open looks at the rim.
