About Karam

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is smooth and versatile. I’m comfortable handling the ball, creating my own shot, and pulling up from deep. When I drive, I can finish with finesse or through contact, depending on what the defense gives me. On defense, I use my length and instincts to stay in front and make plays. I like to mix it up; sometimes I play fast and flashy, other times I slow it down and stay patient.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is simple; I love competition. When I face someone who pushes me, it brings out the best in me. I don’t shy away from challenges; I feed off them. The tougher the opponent, the sharper I get, and that’s what drives me to keep improving.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of sports, I’m involved in student council, where I help represent my class and contribute to school events. I’m also a member of BOSS (Boys Organization for Student Services), which focuses on leadership, service, and supporting the school community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my experiences, I’ve developed strong leadership skills and learned how to set an example for others. I’ve also built a strong work ethic, staying committed and pushing myself to get better in everything I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced challenges with racism from a coach and teammates. It wasn’t easy, but I learned how to handle those situations without letting them break me down. Instead, I used those experiences to build mental toughness, stay focused on my goals, and prove myself through my work ethic and performance.

What type of college are you looking for?

Im looking for a college with good academics and a strong basketball team.

Karam AbuSara Karam AbuSara Karam AbuSara 6'1" | PF/SF West Lafayette Sr/Jr | 2028 IN was really fun to watch compete at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. His motor ran hot the entire time playing hard every possession and was really good defensively. Was really impressed with his rebounding skills at just 6’1”. He read the ball off the rim extremely well all day and went up with two hands to grab it.
