Despite it not being his best performance, it was still pretty easy to see Kani’s long-term potential. Butler has grown a few inches since Prep Hoops SC last evaluated him, now measuring at 6’4″. This gives him the length to be very effective in SCISA Class 2A, even though he isn’t super strong. Butler is a solid playmaker off the dribble, capable of slicing through a rotating defense to score at the rim or find a teammate. He is also an efficient shooter and one that creates more space for his teammates to work.
