Saw Burdiss during the Summer and he impressed. He’s long, lean and agile, and contributes to an improving Skypoint team with over 7 per game.

Burdiss is a good two way player who much like Skypointe, may sneak up on some people. His ability to not only defend multiple positions, but to cause live ball turnovers during the Desert Reign Summer League was extremely important to the success of his team. Don’t be suprised to see him as a sleeper all 4A defensive candidate next season.

Burdiss may have earned a spot on my Pre-season all lockdown team. The rangy wing has been everywhere during the league. He defends every position, getting steals in seemingly every possible way. He showed that he can pickpocket on ball and used good instincts to jump passing lanes. With his length and activity, he has a legitimate chance of leading the state in steals this season.

Burdiss looks like a potential prospect. The long agile wing is a faceup forward who showed the ability to put the ball on the ground both in grab and go situations as well as in the half court offense. He showed a good competitive streak as well, grabbing a couple 50/50 balls during the game I watched.
