Finds and sets teammates for open shots, shifty and fast, good handles, good mid and long range shooter,good defender

Focused, hard working, coachable, determined and dedicated

Played travel soccer for 8yrs, MI state cup champions 2021 Varsity soccer during freshman year JV basketball during freshman year Student council since 8th grade National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and National Honor Society (NHS)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Received leadership award in 8th grade football First mate during 8th grade (mentors 6th graders) Volunteer at food pantries

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

It was always my dream to be basketball varsity during freshman year but with the amount of juniors and seniors that tried out I did not make it. I took it really hard but finally just turned my focus on making a mark on the JV team, I played starting point guard for the team and had a record of 18W-3L season

Medalla could make some noise this year. He can be a true playmaker with the ball in his hands. Medalla has the ability to put defenders on his hip and create from there. He can finish at the rim as well as find teammates in scoring positions.
