One of the top spring standouts from the Prep Hoops Circuit, Purdon is the perfect example of a new name player making a name for himself. Purdon can play above the rim in transition and has thrown down a handful of dunks both weekends I’ve seen his team play. With good straight line speed, Purdon can beat defenders down the court and use his size to finish over guards. Hoping to see Purdon take some steps as a creator for others as we continue throughout the grassroots season, if he can consistently set up his teammates in positions to score I think he’ll be an even more attractive prospect for regional small college programs.

A new name I just discovered today, Purdon stood out for an Ohio Express team that ran through the competition. Purdon is a bigger wing who can grab and go off defensive rebounds, use his size to finish in the paint and finish above the rim with a head of steam.
