Fields is a player that has a ton of confidence. He feels like he can make any shot he takes, and I see why because he can. He has shut a quick release on his shot. He is a high-volume shooter. He does not need any space to knock shots down. He makes the other team focus so much attention on him on the offensive end. You must know where he is at every possession. He looks for contact on drives and draws fouls well. He either is a three-point shooter or to the rim. He is a 1,000-point scorer so he is dang good at both.

One of the top shooters at the camp, Fields scored the ball as well as just about anybody at the camp on Saturday. Playing with a lot of confidence offensively, Fields is able to create shots for himself or work as a spot-up option off other talented pieces. That’s similar to what we see Fields play with Teays Valley and with Phenom United. With Teays Valley, Fields is the guy who is tasked with creating for himself and others, getting tons of double teams along the way. With Phenom United, Fields does some on the ball work but is most often scoring as a spot-up option off other players. I find it best for players to be used in different roles during the high school and grassroots seasons and Fields is a prime example of that. He gets all the on-ball reps he needs in the winter and plays against top talent in the spring.

One of the more physically impressive guards at the Paul Corsaro Elite Camp, Fields has a strong, athletic frame for a guard. He was consistently able to dominate defenders off of the dribble and then play through contact to finish around the basket. There is no shying away from opposing size when he gets into the paint. Fields is also highly skilled. Ranked #35 in the Prep Hoops Ohio Class of 2026 Rankings, this is a prospect that college programs will be following closely into his junior season at Teays Valley High School.

Fields and Phenom United had a big comeback victory in a competitive battle Vs Team Loaded Va. One of the top small town scorers in Ohio, Fields showed the ability to get buckets from the outside against some top competition. If Phenom United can take care of the basketball, they could string together some victories this week with their perimeter scoring talent.

One of the top small-town scorers in Ohio’s 2026 class, Fields was getting buckets for Teays Valley on Thursday. Hitting some DEEP 3-pointers, Fields has range that stretches past the college line. I thought Fields was much more efficient off the catch than creating for himself. When he was spotting up on the wing or running off screens, he shot the ball at a high clip. Excited to see Fields on the grassroots circuit this summer when he’ll be surrounded by other scorers.

A small town product, Fields has been putting up huge numbers for Teays Valley this season and also knocked down 44 consecutive free throws as well. With good size from the guard position, Fields can really score the basketball off the bounce by creating for himself. A confident shooter running off screens, Fields has the ability to catch fire from 3-point range. Continuing to expand his game, Fields has shown improved scoring in the paint with two-foot finishes and pivots to open up space to shoot. Watching him at the grassroots level against tougher competition will further give a better picture for how his talent stacks up to other top guards in central Ohio’s 2026 class.

Fields is a player that once he gets hot, it’s going to be a long day. That’s exactly what he did in the second game of the teams I watched. He got extremely hot and almost never missed. He was knocking down everything from beyond the arch. He is really good off the dribble and moving. He has a very quick release. Once he saw a couple go in his confidence went through the roof.
