I’ve been lucky enough to see Latham play a couple times this high school season and there’s a lot to like about him as a player and prospect. He a lean 6’7″ with length and a wingspan that seems, by look, even bigger than that. Latham has shown the ability to be a force on the boards and can pick up high percentage put backs. He can also be trusted with the ball and play some off the perimeter.

Latham is a senior that holds a ton of upside. I can really see why college coaches would be excited. He’s long and athletic and in strong physical condition. Basically Latham is a 6’7″ college ready frame. He can stretch the floor some on offense and can play strong vertical defense.

Latham is a post player with a very big upside. His game grew a ton just during last high school season alone. At the beginning of the year he looked like a raw post player. By the end of the year he was showing that he could dominate the paint. Latham moves well in the paint with solid feet. He can score with both force and creativity near the rim.
