Burton played his brand of basketball on Saturday and didn’t let the pace of play from the other team dictate how he played. He had a tough matchup with Samuel Afagwu from the Comets all day, and both really showed up on both ends of the floor. Burton was a monster on the glass, especially on the offensive end after misses. The biggest play of the day for Burton was a converted and-one late that gave his team a comfortable six point lead. He was a solid finisher and is able to get to his spots effectively.

Josiah understands who he is as a player. At 6’6 he’s not going to be floating out on the perimeter trying to beat guys off the dribble or hit pull-up threes. When Josiah gets the ball, he’s going to get to the rim. Burton is a powerful front-court player who doesn’t shy away from contact, and knows how to use his body to create angles around the basket. Had a handful of finishes just powering his way up against a 6’5 defender to score.
