Sosa has steadily taken steps forward at DSST College View, and as a junior he’s putting together his best season yet. He’s averaging 18.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, showing real growth and confidence. He cuts hard, finishes with either hand and plays tight, physical defense that makes life difficult for opponents. His game looks more complete, more polished and more assertive. Sosa’s improvement has been consistent, and now the production is matching the talent

Sosa has the ability to control the game on both ends of the floor. As a playmaker he runs the point with poise, consistently finding open teammates and creating opportunities by drawing extra defensive attention. Offensively his vision and decision making make him a reliable facilitator. Defensively his quickness allows him to apply pressure, disrupt passing lanes and generate steals creating momentum changing plays. His combination of court vision, speed and defensive impact makes him a standout player and a key reason he earned his spot in the rankings

While competing in a smaller conference, Sosa is an excellent decision maker at this stage, reading the floor particularly quickly on both ends of the floor. Bringing great hands to be an on-ball playmaker one on one or to generate steals at the point of attack, the guard has found immediate success stepping into his second season. College View is off to a great start at the 4A level, going 5-1 to end out 2024 with Sosa spearheading their success. 

Sosa has been particularly efficient over at College View, among the better facilitators in this class due to his handle and quick instincts. He has made strides as a decisionmaker with the ball, more daring passing the ball through tight windows or lengthy passes in transition. Through the first month, Sosa has put up 12.4 points and 4.2 assists per game.
