Phanor, a 6’2″ guard for Pinketon, displayed the ability to score it in bunches in the second half, helping his team to pull away for the title. A long and athletic guard, the sophomore was quiet in the first half before really turning it on after intermission. He elevates nicely into his jumper and has a high release point, allowing him to get it off over most defenders. He showed the ability to operate as a secondary playmaker, did a nice job of attacking closeouts off the bounce, and wasn’t afraid to mix it up in traffic on the defensive glass.

Phanor, a sophomore guard out of Pinkerton Academy, could me among the region’s top scoring sophomores this winter. As a freshman, he averaged an impressive 13.4 points per game – a number that should only rise this winter. He has a quick first step and plus length, both of which allow him to excel as an off the bounce scorer who can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. He’s a tough shot maker in the mid-range, can really knock shots down from behind the arc, and is developing his ability to operate as an on-ball creator with each passing month.

Phanor, a scoring guard out of Pinkerton Academy in New Hampshire, proved himself as one of the top first year performers at the public school level last winter. The 6’1″ guard averaged 13.4 points per game, including a single-game, season-high of 37. An uber confident shooter, he has deep range on his jumper and the ability to make them in catch and shoot situations or off the bounce. He’s a crafty finisher, off drives and in transition. Defensively, he anticpates plays before they develop and creates a high number of steals and deflections.
