Irving is one of the most athletic centers in the country who had a breakout summer on the Puma circuit and has continued to impress with Pasadena High School this winter. Still needing some time to fill out his frame and improve his physicality, Irving’s athleticism, switch ability and shot blocking should give him an early role while the long term upside will be determined by his rebounding and interior defense. I’m buying stock in Irving now because few bigs in the country have his level of upside.
