Joseph was a clutch shot-maker for RM in their 4A MPSSAA appearance. Consistently delivered from beyond the arc in key moments. He showed confidence and composure as a perimeter scorer, knocking down timely threes including a huge shots late in the 4th quarter and in overtime. He also impacted the game defensively, applying pressure on the ball and creating steals. His ability to produce from deep while contributing on both ends helped prove he can be a very reliable two-way guard night-in and night-out.

15p 3r 2s vs John F Kennedy
-Liked the versatility in Davis’ offensive arsenal throughout the road matchup with JFK. Davis caught a late pass in transition before hitting a short jumper off glass off the spin move, made up for some rushed 3s in the 1H by flying around at the defensive end of the floor, and hit some big shots down the stretch of the game for his team. The first of those moments came when Davis hit a huge wing 3 to cut it to 2 with 33s in 4Q then a go-ahead 3 early in OT, showing his ability to step up in big moments. Expecting a big senior year next season out of the shooter as RM graduates some productive depth in the backcourt.

Davis has quietly put together one of the more consistent junior seasons in MoCo and his floor-spacing ability alongside Vaughn-Cooper is proving to be most valuable now more than ever. He connected on three three’s in last night’s win and finished the contest with 13 points. His effort in the second quarter helped Richard Montgomery build momentum and cut the Whitman lead to one point at the break.

-Continue to come away impressed with the rising junior as he has put together a productive summer between his performances in CHSL and with his AAU program. Love the way that he utilizes his pivot around the basket to regain balance and throw off his defender’s tempo to give himself an easier look at the rim. Davis spent the afternoon taking his matchup off the bounce, had several and-1 finishes through contact, and is a pretty aggressive on-ball defender that breathes life into his team’s schemes at both ends of the floor. With his ability to handle the rock, make decisions in ball screens, and stretch the floor with his shooting— he only adds to his value as a prospect and should see a sizable bump in our next rankings update.
