A do it all type of prospect, Allen-Mimms, shinned on both the offensive and defensive end throughout the showcase. He did an amazing job staying in front of his opponent, and forced a number of steals, where he could push the ball and get out and run in transition. He has the ability to guard multiple positions, and did a tremendous job rebounding from the guard spot.

The rising sophomore, Allen-Mimms, has a great motor and plays the game with tremendous energy and emotion. He has an excellent basketball IQ, and was very vocal every time he stepped on the floor. He’s an extremely athletic prospect, with a lightning quick first step who likes to attack the basket, but also has the ability to knock down the 3-ball to keep the defense honest. Allen-Mimms rebounds the ball very well from guard position, and with his quick feet and quick hands really took pride in his defensive game.

Another prospect who will be moving up in our updated 2029 rankings, Allen-Mimms is a quick, athletic, attacking guard who is effective both with and without the ball in his hands. He consistently puts pressure on opposing defenses with his ability to get downhill and is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint. Allen-Mimms is an excellent finisher around the rim, a capable perimeter shot maker and is especially dangerous in transition. His athleticism and quickness also translate to the defensive end, where he has the ability tools to develop into a high level on-ball defender and disrupt opposing offenses.
