Guenthardt is a player that I’ve always been impressed with and was again at The Expo. He had a well rounded game on Saturday. Guenthardt attacked with steadiness and control through traffic and then finished at the rim. He had a pretty catch and shoot 3 and saw him set multiple tough screens.

Guenthardt was a definite head turner at the showcase on Saturday. I hope college coaches saw what I saw. He’s always carried a bit of a reputation as a shooter, which is fine because he does it and does it very well. But Guenthardt was way more than that on Saturday. He was so creative with the ball. Guenthardt was able to put the ball on the floor, draw defenders and make tough passes.

Guenthardt will be a very intriguing and skilled player to see at the event. He can score in a variety of ways and can take advantage of the defense. If they step out on him, he’s shown that he has the first step and speed build up to put them on his hip. Guenthardt is a terrific shooter with range extending beyond the arc.

Guenthardt will be a very interesting watch at the Top 250. He has the look of a shooter at heart. Guenthardt doesn’t need much space and can get his shot off even with a hand in his face. He has a quick release allowing him to fire it up even with a defender closing out. Guenthardt has deceptive blow by speed with the ball in his hands.
