I paid 0 attention to his numbers in this game. Didn’t need to or want to. I wanted to watch the way he moved and the spots on the floor that he was comfortable in. Arber moved well and got up and down the floor. He was comfortable banging in the post, but could step out, face the rim and make a pass.

This is a young man that really impressed me through grassroots season. He was playing on the first court at in the Chicago area I believe, and I never made it past court 1. His ease of movement and control of his base was so impressive for a young true post player. Trust me, you’ll want to watch him play.

A skilled young big with good feet and body control is a scary thought. Well, that’s what we have here with Lajcaj. I saw coaches struggling to counteract his skill set this summer and I’m sure we’ll see it again come high school season. Lajcaj knows how to use his physical traits to defend and he’s mobile enough to be a factor in transition.

Lajcaj caught my eye this summer and I’ve been talking about his game ever since. I just really like his feet, his base and his movement as a post player. Any big with the freedom of movement that Lajcaj has can be considered a player to watch. He has the ability to run the floor and be a factor in transition.

I saw Lajcaj play in Chicago this summer and when I did, I couldn’t wait to move him on and up the rankings. The thing thet probsbly impressed me the most was his feet, movement and body control. Those can issues for true post players, but not for him. Lajcaj showed that he could even run the floor. In fact, he was terrific as a trailer on the break.

I caught Lajcaj playing early in the event and made sure to keep my eyes peeled for him throughout the weekend. He’s a willing defender that’s not afraid to use his height and length. Lajcaj has good feet under his frame and showed the he could get out in the open floor or even be available as a trailer. Lajcaj was really active on the offensive glass when I watched him play.
