Jonah, a versatile 6’4” forward, contributed on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he showed value as a spot-up shooter while also being willing to play through contact around the basket. Sheldon brought a team-first approach and played within the flow of the offense. Defensively, he uses his size and length as a rim protector, giving him the ability to impact shots around the basket and provide a presence in the paint.

We had seen Sheldon previously in club basketball but viewing him within the Sandy team concept confirmed our thoughts that he’s one of the top incoming freshmen for 2026-27. The young big man puts in blue collar work in the paint but runs the floor well and also capably hits mid-range jumpers. A double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds in a win over David Douglas.
