John functions as a hybrid guard/wing for the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves this season and has been a key performer in many of their games with his contributions. Laboy knows how to control the offense effectively with the ball in his hands and makes sound decisions with high IQ. He can get to the basket against tough defense or knock down an open jumper from the perimeter/mid-range. He plays with great pace and is effective on the fast break. John currently is a Columbia commit, but had offers from Texas State, Columbia, and UC Riverside.
