How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is John Curtis, and I am a Class of 2029 combo guard from Chicago, Illinois. I attend Lane Tech College Prep, where I take advanced classes and stay committed to excelling both academically and athletically. I play for the Chicago Cannons, a Play Hard Hoops affiliate, where I compete against strong competition and continue to develop my game. As a combo guard, I use my explosiveness to cre

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have performed at over 8 concert venues in different bands with the School of Rock program. I was also a student ambassador at my school and helped with kindergarten classes. I partook in mascot club as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have gained leadership skills through playing lots of minutes at the point guard position where I ensure my teammates are in the right place to succeed.
