He was a new addition to Midwest Stars in 2025 and has been a solid player. Joey shoots the rock at a high percentage from beyond the arc and has recently added size/physicality to his game. Matis is capable of guarding wing and BIGs. This lefty is confident from behind the arc and has really improved his game. His competitiveness has been on full display. Joey has shown out with his inside scoring & aggressive rebounding.
