An instinctive playmaker who uses his handles to set up teammates and create for others. Hudgins drives low to his man’s hip forcing the angle where he could easily get paint touches or pivot back for the kick out. Hudgins played with a great feel for the game displaying natural awareness and decision-making that you can’t really teach. This kid processed the game at a high level, understanding spacing, timing, and also his teammates showing his chemistry. His scoring came in rhythm, flowing within the offense rather than forcing. He knows when to push tempo, when to slow it, when to attack a gap, and when to move the ball on. He plays with a sense of control and anticipation, he sees actions developing ahead of time and positions himself to make the right play before the defense realizes what’s happening.
