Wetters is a pure lead guard down at Vanguard, posting 6+ assists per game thanks to his smooth handle and ability to get into the paint at will. Comfortable versus point of attack pressure, the guard has counters to whatever opposing defenses throw at him. Two areas have made him so successful in his role, firstly his ability to change speeds with the ball to ward off opponents and second is his accuracy finding teammates through tight windows. Among the most productive facilitators in Colorado Springs, Wetters is averaging 6.1 assists per game for the 9-4 program.
