Gwaltney is a strong, broad-shouldered lefty who played with intensity on both ends of the court. He used his physicality to apply defensive pressure, consistently poking balls loose and disrupting the guards. Offensively, he flashed scoring touch but mostly got his buckets by using his body to slash. Overall, he looked like a high-motor player with an attacking mindset, using his broad stance to his advantage.

Gwaltney is a lengthy 6’3” SG on IL Bears. His ability to be a productive D2 or LM is definitely there. Great shooting abilities. Knocking down a few 3-pointers with ease on different spaces. He’s also a good perimeter defender who slides his feet well. I even saw him make great finds as a passer. Best one came as an open teammate flew made a strong cut inside for an easy 2-points.
