Addison impressed with his ability to score at the bucket. Addison picks and chooses his spots in the mid-range a can score in the blink of an eye. He has good length and size for a swingman. He showed that he could score from deep, but I personally think he can become more of a threat from there. I think he will have a flurry of low ones and high twos tracking him the whole summer and fall.

Getting a chance to catch JJ live was one of the highlights of my time at MADE Hoops. He was a scoring machine from all three levels on the floor. The different ways in which JJ was able to generate points was impressive to see. He was creating separation off the dribble into pullups, driving hard to the basket, and knocking down jumpers with consistency. Addison had some very efficient stretches on the floor that showed me he wants to be more then just a scorer.

had a nice day for Frederick. JJ is a knockdown shooter, and he hit a couple of spot-up threes. JJ got off to a great start to this game, and this was a big reason Frederick went into the half up 6. JJ finished with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

-Addison did a great job of getting into the teeth of the defense with rip-throughs from the perimeter before raising up for elbow pull-ups. He can post up smaller guards, knock down C+S threes, and drill 1 or 2-dribble jumpers after ducking under closeouts. The complete offensive game is balanced well with his value on the defensive end as a wing with good size that can guard up or down a position.

The state champion is a big reason his team won it all and this year he will get to prove why he is one of the big stock risers in the class of 26. He is a superior athlete with a great motor on defense. JJ has really spend time working on his shot as you can see great touch on his mid-range pull up now. He was already a nightmare in the open floor, but now defenders will have to worry about his shooting the ball from beyond the arc. A real plug and play type of kid who does whatever a coach needs. You can send him to guard the best player and drop him low to defend low post players. If I know JJ he wants the number #1 spot and that’s surely in his sights if he keeps this up.
