McCrum made some late grassroots season noise, which is a great time to do it. He was a defensive anchor in the interior for his REAL team. McCrum effectively defended the rim and challenged, altered or blocked shots on a consistent basis. He was huge on the defensive glass, effectively eliminating many second chance opportunities.
