Jett brings a strong, physical frame to the guard position, which he pairs with a crafty offensive approach and excellent court vision. He’s comfortable initiating offense, using his body to create space and find open teammates with sharp, timely passes. Samson was at his best when playing downhill, consistently making the right reads in the paint and setting up high-percentage scoring opportunities. He also proved to be a dependable threat from the perimeter, getting his feet set quickly and displaying impressive range beyond the arc.

Samson is a leader by example, a tenacious defender on and off of the ball, and someone that can get hot in a hurry from all over the floor in a plethora of different ways if the defense doesn’t tag him early on. During this event, Samson mixed it up with a larger group of individuals for the skill-side of things and he did a great job of showing his worth. Didn’t matter if it was 1v1, shooting jumpers, handling under pressure, 3v3, or 5v5, in everything he did a solid job as a standout and that was recognizable. I’m excited to see where Samson can take things. It looks like he also killed it this AAU season with his Nebraska Supreme squad so as long as he keeps working and stays on this trajectory, he is going to like the way it all works out for him in the end.
