Jesse Judkins helped Perazen Elite make a comeback against Legacy (AZ) on Saturday morning. He was floating behind the 3-point line most of the game and took advantage of the space that the defense gave him. Once he saw the ball go in a couple of times, his confidence skyrocketed and he began to really let it go. Although Perazen Elite was down by over 10, he wiped out the lead rather quickly. He then buried a triple with just seconds left to push it to overtime. However Legacy pulled away in OT and got the win.

Judkins is a nice lead guard prospect that showed a good burst off the dribble and a good handle. He used his quickness to create for his teammates as well as himself. He also displayed good athleticism in the open court when in one-on-one situations.

If it’s possible to believe, the Jitterbug PG has improved his overall offensive grade. He’s become a much more efficient player, using his wicked handle and quickness, to score the basketball in both 1 v 1 situations as well as off the ball in catch and shoots.

The sophomore PG has already kind of made himself into an AAU legend, with his shifty handels and deep range shooting prowless. Cimarron suffered a heartbreaking defeat on Tuesday, but Judkins still has the chance to raise his profile this summer. He ran with Prominent Elite last year, so I’m curious to see who he plays with this grassroots season.
