O’Neal Jr. finished with 19 Points on 8-12 FG in a win over Lancaster (SC).

O’Neal even showed off his athleticism with crazy bounce, delivering massive blocks and powerful dunks with his head above the rim, proving to be a lob threat on the baseline inbound plays as well as a designed backdoor cut to catch the defense off guard. O’Neal showed off his understanding of how to let the game come to him, never over dribbling or forcing his offense but playing within the flow of the game and the energy of the ball movement. Great shot selections and very mature game, his high-level basketball IQ and anticipation for the play or what should be happening showed that he’s been around the game forever and watches a ton of film. O’Neal had a consistent style of play throughout the entirety of the game, using his unwavering motor to touch every facet of the game and check off every box on the stat sheet. This SMU commit will have no trouble transitioning and finding his niche at the next level as he appears to just begin scratching the surface of his talents.
