About Jericho

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Jericho is a true floor general with elite court awareness and vision. He controls the tempo, creates scoring opportunities for his teammates, and reads defenses effortlessly. With a strong inside-outside game, he can attack the basket with confidence or knock down the three. His ball-handling, ability to break down defenders, and knack for threading impossible passes make him a standout playmaker

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Jericho plays with poise and confidence. Nicknamed “The Matrix” for his ability to slow the game down, read plays, and make high-IQ decisions under pressure. He’s unselfish, team-focused, and takes pride in tough on-ball defense. His competitive spirit and relentless work ethic push him to elevate both his own game and the players around him.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in school events and received academic awards for excellence and character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills as a point guard. I’ve learned how to communicate, control the pace, and keep my teammates involved. I lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and always put the team first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is learning how to stay confident and focused when facing bigger, stronger, or older competition. As a smaller guard, I’ve had to work harder on my ball-handling, conditioning, and decision-making to make sure I can still control the game. There were times when I doubted myself, but pushing through those moments made me mentally tougher.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values player development, strong academics, and a positive team culture. I want a program where I can grow on and off the court, be coached hard, and contribute to a system built on teamwork, discipline, and trust. I’m open to different levels as long as the environment helps me improve and succeed.
