was ruled ineligible for the second half of the season. Scoring tied for a team high 14 points against prep powerhouse Huntington Prep, Wilson is again finding his stride heading into the OHSAA playoffs. His ability to space the floor, move his feet and be physical in the paint gives Wilson a role at the college level.

The second Richmond Heights player to join All Ohio this weekend, Wilson has made an impact as a stretch big hitting a couple mid-range shots and spacing the floor. Wilson also has the second most blocks on the team despite playing just 50 minutes. Struggling to finish on the inside, Wilson is very undersized for a big in this environment.

Pretty much every player in Richmond Heights starting five is a stock riser after their unbelievable season that ended as unbeaten state champions. Wilson’s floor spacing ability from the power forward position is pretty valuable when you combine that with his size, strength and production. Another prospect that improves almost every time I watch him play, I expect scholarship programs to take interest in Wilson during June and July. Richmond Heights brings back their entire starting five and will be projected to be arguably the best team in Ohio regardless of Division next season.

Richmond Heights has been the talk of northeast Ohio with their unbeaten record against a tough schedule. The Spartans are led by a trio of 2025 prospects, but two transfers in the 2024 class have added a spark to their team. Wilson provides size, rebounding and is becoming a capable shooter as well. Richmond Heights only plays about six guys in close games so Wilson gets plenty of time to shine on a fast tempo squad. I expect Wilson to get strong scholarship interest from college programs this spring and summer.

Wilson is another new piece that Richmond Heights added over the off-season and the late blooming forward is starting to bloom. Wilson has a good body with impressive athleticism and made some flash plays with the ball in his hands. Wilson still has a ways to go offensively but could put it on the ground once or twice and get around a defender to finish around the rim. Wilson also contested shots at the rim and is a unique body for Division IV programs to match-up with in the paint during the Spartans state title defense.
