How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Passionate aggressive ball player with game IQ. Always looking up the floor for an open pass to get our team a great shot, not just a good shot. My game style consists of driving to the basket strongly. Consistent shooter, cutting & setting screens to keep the offense moving. I play hard on offense and hard on defense at all cost. I am strong and have great endurance. A playmaker and team player.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m humble but confident. I'm all heart and 100% hustle the entire game. I watch tapes and see where I can continually improve. I am a team player and motivator. I seek to encourage those around me to reach their fullest potential. God has given me a gift and I will continue to work hard daily to refine my skills.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I play for Great Northern Elite 13u, starting point guard. I played travel ball for 5 years for Escanaba. This past year, I was the starting point guard for 7th grade school ball at Bark River/Harris school. I was the leading scorer and lead in assists and steals. I also played up 5th quarter for 8th grade. I’m involved in church and volunteering as an assistant coach at my local Escanaba YMCA.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Being the starting point guard for Bark River 7th grade strengthen my skills as a leader. A point guard is an extension of the coach on the floor. You have to be confident, you have to be mentally focused and you have to lead the other players around you in a positive manner. Motivation makes everyone play better. Every game, I am intentional to high five my teammates and cheer them on.
What type of college are you looking for?
Division 1 is my goal. While I am only 13 right now, every single day, 7 days a week, I am putting in the work to get better and better.
