Poole was the heart and soul of the Eagles – essentially Hood River Valley’s varsity squad – and most all of the offense began with him. He was shifty off the dribble and when he wasn’t draining long range jumpers or pulling up from the mid-range, he was dishing out some nice passes to teammates for scoring opportunities. His play helped the Eagles capture a win in their last game of the event over Valley (Miller).
