Bonner is now “the guy” for the Wildcats after their four leading scorers graduated last spring. JD turned the heads of a few programs after a couple of big showings at the Upward Stars Fall League, earning offers from Bob Jones and Appalachian Bible College. He is likely a 1 at the next level because of his size, but that doesn’t mean he can’t spot-up for a few possessions and keep the defense honest with efficient shooting.
