About Jayon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a dedicated player with a strong focus on rebounding and hustling. I pride myself on my ability to get my teammates involved, creating opportunities for everyone on the court. Additionally, I have a soft touch around the rim, allowing me to finish around the rim constantly .

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a winning mentality that drives me to stay focused on my goals and push through any challenges. I believe in my abilities and always strive to improve which helps me stay motivated and make a good impact on my team while having a smile on my face everywhere I go.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m not involved in any clubs or anything like that but I have got recognition and rewards for representing PRIDE in the right way at Mona shores High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Recently I feel like I developed a trait as being a leader by holding me and my teammates accountable and to a certain standard that I know we all can be, I’ve always been a team player no matter if it’s on the court, field, or track I try to get my teammates involved as much as possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I haven’t really faced a serious challenge but I would say my body language is somewhat hard to control and I’ve been working on it because my coach told me no coach at the next level would never take a chance on me if my body language sucks.

What type of college are you looking for?

Honestly I don’t really have a preference i would love any college that will believe in me to better there program and trust me enough to give me a opportunity.
