Whitfield fits that style of play perfectly as a bully-ball style lefty guard who wants to play through contact on the offensive end of the court. Dayton Dunbar also thrived in the open court where Whitfield had a handful of easy assists to open teammates. A scrappy group, Dayton Dunbar’s relentless defense and ability to score on the fast break will make them a tough out this season.
