Simmons was on of the most electric players I evaluated at Governors Challenge. He likes to throw lobs to his teammates who can play above the rim. He is an acrobat around the bucket and has a nice layup package he can get to in a jiffy. He had two double figure scoring showings in the two games I saw of him. He spent a fair amount of time at the charity strip. Simmons always seemed to position himself in all the right spots to shag rebounds and is a threat to get it N go when he acquires the ball. He is an up-tempo guard and would be a great fit for college programs who like to play at an ultra fast pace.
