Jayden Ybarra Jayden Ybarra 6'0" | CG San Antonio Central Catholic | 2029 State TX is a combo guard who possesses high IQ and has the wherewithal to always make the right play on offense. He showcases quick speed and ballhandling during fastbreak opportunities and often is very efficient in his shooting from deep range. He is a dual threat playmaker/scorer who can affect the stats column by either passing or scoring and he rebounds well crashing the glass on both sides of the ball. Ybarra was one of my highest stock rising guards this summer and I think he has a very bright future ahead of him at the varsity level.

Jayden announced himself this summer as a consistent three-point threat. Five or six made threes in a game is not unusual. But don’t put him in the shooter-only box. Ybarra can play off the ball as a combo guard, but he is at his best running the point. He gets teammates where they need to be and understands how to organize an offense. When the game gets tight, he is not afraid of the decision or the moment. He will make the big pass. He will take the big shot.
