Colon will head south for college after announcing his commitment to Odessa College. Another combo forward with a versatile skillset, Colon has played at a high level the last two years and will look to continue his offensive progression when he heads to Texas. An impressive athlete that plays with a great motor, he’s really started to expand his offensive game this spring, proving to be comfortable making decisions with the ball on the perimeter. His best attributes continue to be his ability to rebound on both ends of the floor and his versatility on the defensive end, where he can potentially guard every position on the floor. He’ll head south with the chance to impress at the NJCAA level and continue to improve his stock with the hopes of transitioning to Division I down the road.
