I got to see Carlton for a little bit with OBC in the spring and with Hudson, they rely on Carlton to play with the ball in his hands and create more. Nice to see him play a variety of roles going from a complimentary piece on a talented 16 U roster to the main scoring option for Hudson. A wing guard who showed some passing flashes, Carlton gets a lot of eyes on him when the ball is in his hands and if he can use that defensive attention to get his teammates good looks then everybody will benefit. I also thought Carlton had some nice drives to the cup to score, using his stronger frame multiple times in the paint. Also knocking down a couple 3-pointers off the pick and pop game, Carlton can make shots from the perimeter as well.
