Jaxon Staples Jaxon Staples 6'4" | SG/SF Foran | 2027 State New E is a floor spacing guard with a quick trigger. He loves to get to his spots and score in the mid-range, rising and knocking down shots on the corner keys. Staples has a nasty step-back baseline jump shot and loves to take advantage of it and take his defenders to work. He is a ridiculous off-ball shooter and you cannot leave him open anywhere on the three-point line. Staples has shown passing brilliance finding cutters with quick ball moving and a high understanding of the game. He competes hard on defense, always keeping his hands up at all times at that end. Staples and his shooting prowess make him an absolute threat to gameplan against, and programs should monitor him going forward.
