Javier is a lengthy and shifty guard who uses his height to his advantage and takes advantage of smaller defenders, scoring from all three levels and being a willing playmaker who sets up good looks for his team. He had several blocks in the paint using his wingspan and athleticism to come down with rebounds off his own blocks and start the fastbreak in transition as the lead guard. Alanis can shoot from three when left open and doesn’t hesitate to move without the ball in his hands, freeing up space on the perimeter.
