St. Augustine will host Captain Shreve tonight, and the big man position is often the equalizer in close matchups. Finishing, controlling the boards, and protecting the rim are all game-changers, and those happen to be Brazile’s primary strengths. He is a traditional post player with Rodman-like tendencies on the glass. He can control a game from the paint, and if he establishes his presence early, St. Augustine could be moving on to the next round. He will be in for a tough battle in the middle, making tonight a key test for a key performer.

Brazile is a work horse around the goal and lives to compete in the lane. He is a quick jumper and active post player that I have honestly not seen outworked in a game. He is a rim running finisher and team anchor on both sides of the ball. St. Aug is skilled in each position, and his ability to defend in pick and roll situations on one end, and then punish in pick and roll situations demonstrate his basketball IQ which is a clear indicator of his next level potential. Brazile will play college basketball, and coaches looking for size and motor need to look no further.
