Expert Analysis
Donald Tatum | Prep Hoops Scout
JaTravion Bunnery returns as one of the state’s top wings when healthy. He is a long, athletic player with a strong wingspan and excellent instincts around the rim. Bunnery runs the floor well, finishes above or through contact, and provides a consistent presence in the paint. His production will be a major factor for Bossier, which has a loaded roster of lead options and complementary pieces. With Bunnery back in the lineup, Bossier has the potential to be one of the state’s top teams and a difficult matchup for anyone on its schedule.

Read EvaluationDonald Tatum | Prep Hoops Scout
Bunnery appears to have grown into his 6’7 frame and plays a simple, but high IQ game. His game is without mistakes and built on efficiency. If he gets the ball in the post he will finish. If there is a chance to rebound, he wins the ball. He does not demand a lot of touches, but requires attention because he can punish your team for quick mistakes. He can play the 4 or the 5, and be a match up problem at both, and on both sides of the ball. Long, athletic and active, Bunnery is one of the best post players in the state.
