Golphin is a dual-sport athlete who is set to take the gridiron for Stephen Decatur playing linemen on both sides of the ball. It doesn’t take long to tell he’s no stranger to physical play and he made it known by matching up with the taller players in attendance and using his strong lower body to establish and maintain leverage inside. Where he got tricky for his matchups is his ability to step out beyond the arc and let it fly when his feet are set. It’s fun to watch Golphin compete because he doesn’t second guess anything and while at times he poses as a battering ram, it oftentimes can overwhelm the other team when his motor is running high like it was during 3v3 play.
