About Jalen
Expert Analysis
Becca Bernstein | Prep Hoops Scout
Neal’s a shifty ball-handler who popped because of his skills finishing at the hoop. He finished offensive possessions at a higher clip than many of the players around him. Neal also has a nose for the ball, regularly coming away with tipped balls despite not having a size advantage. His downcourt pinpoint passes generated offense for his teammates time and time again. I’d be interested in seeing him handle a larger role against first-team competition to fully evaluate his play.

Neal’s a versatile 2-way guard who does bits of everything on both ends. Explosive ball-handler in the open floor. Keeps guys in front of him with strong footwork defensively. High motor kid. Lots of length.
