Moen is a really solid two-way guard for Tahoma who is able to make timely plays and approaches the game with a pretty good IQ. He can make some tough finishes at the rim, shoots the ball well enough too, but it’s his ability to control tempo, calm his team down when it gets hectic, and set things in motion that really has stood out so far this season. He plays strong and secure with the rock and is an important player for the Bears.

Moen is a strong guard, he’s good working off two and using pivots to find space, was patient with the rock even under pressure, and showed some good potential from 3PT. He’s a solid, all-around player who should play a key role for the Bears this winter.

The only freshman on Tahoma’s varsity roster this past season, Moen played some decent minutes for the Bears and showed he could fit right into what they like to do. He didn’t press with the ball, was active getting up and down the floor to be ready on both ends, and looked solid while handling the ball both to keep the offense flowing and while under pressure. He can find space for shots in the halfcourt and makes good decisions with the ball, has good focus while finishing at the hoop and can knock down threes at a good rate.
