Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Hart is a top-rated floor general not cause of his team’s record but for his ability to do more with less in the Fuquay-Varina High backcourt. He’s a high IQ floor general that’s led his Bengals’ squad to quite a few upsets while leading all seniors in assists per game (8.1) to go along with 13.0 ppg and 8.3 rpg. He recorded a triple-double in their defeat of conference rival Garner High this season. He’s a talented guard prospect that colleges of all levels should get eyes on as an unsigned senior this spring/summer.

Hart was impressive in leading the way for Fuquay-Varina High in the victory. He showed why he’s a top name to know in the 2023 class in the state with 20 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals en route to a 69-66 victory. He showed his composure when things got close in handling and distributing the basketball when things got close and in the end, it paid off with a victory. He’s a prospect that DII and DIII schools should get eyes on in the 919 area at Fuquay-Varina High.

, a name that should be more familiar to 919 basketball fans as the year goes along. He’s dished out 20 total assists in two games against Holly Springs and Middle Creek, and his ability to make reads out of the pick and roll and off the dribble is impressive. His IQ and ability to make the right play, not only while passing but just being on the floor is also what sticks out to me. He’s not the most elite scorer, but can get his when necessary, including hitting the open three. He’s a solid floor general that thrives when he’s given space and time to work with, letting him dice defenses as he wants to. Let’s keep an eye on Hart as the year goes on and see whether his playmaking prowess continues to shine.
