Harvest Prep has lost some talent from last seasons team but that just allows new faces to step up and I think Wharton could be a big beneficiary of an increased role this winter. Already impressing me in June, Wharton screams senior season breakout with his perimeter shooting ability, physical tools and opportunity for a Harvest Prep program that’s used to winning at a high level.
Another year where Harvest Prep will be a force to be reckoned with in central Ohio, the Warriors will pressure you defensively and try and score in transition. Wharton did a nice job of running the floor, making open shots and finding himself at the right place at the right time. With soft touch on his jump-shot, Wharton got a friendly roll on a few shots on Monday. On a team with a nice mix of young and senior talent, Wharton should play a big role for Harvest Prep this season.
