While there’s plenty of development left ahead for Stanfield, he poses the frame of size, length and fluidity that scouts look for in long-term wings. He’ll attend Towson High School where he should get a good chance of minutes within the rotation and benefit from being exposed to the varsity level. Like the majority of the freshmen but especially with these wings who are still putting everything together, the physicality could cause some issues for Stanfield, but as he adjusts, the ceiling with continue to increase. The southpaw showed ability to create off the dribble where he could rise over the top of his matchups in middle school. His length came into play in the transition where defenders’ only solution was to foul him and make him earn it at the stripe.
